Alarik Myrin owns and operates a third generation ranching and farming operation in Altamont, Utah. He is president of Myrin Ranch, Inc., and manager of Myrin Livestock Co. LLC, a family cattle ranch in Duchesne County, Utah. He is also a general partner in Myrin Investment Co. Ltd., and serves as a director of Canyon Meadows Ranch.
Mr. Myrin spent 18 years in the Utah Legislature, where he served as Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee and as a member of the Senate Natural Resources Committee.
He has a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s degree in economics from Utah State University. He previously served on the U.S. AgBank board, and now sits on CoBank’s Risk committee.
