David Kragnes is the owner and operator of a wheat, sugar beet, soybean and corn farm in Felton, Minnesota. He is also former director and chairman of American Crystal Sugar Company, an agricultural cooperative based in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Mr. Kragnes attended North Dakota State University. He joined the CoBank board in 2009 and is on the Governance committee.
