Credit Approval
As senior vice president for credit approval, Daniel Key is responsible for credit approvals. He is a member and alternate chairman of the CoBank Loan Committee, and is also a member of CoBank’s Operating Committee, Market Risk Committee and Senior Leadership Team.
Mr. Key began work with the Farm Credit System in 1978, calling on farm supply and grain cooperatives in Indiana. Tours of duty have included the Louisville Bank for Cooperatives, Central Bank for Cooperatives and Farm Credit Bank of Louisville. He joined CoBank in 1993, and has served in both the relationship manager and credit roles in a wide variety of industries and lending environments. Most recently, he was CoBank’s vice president for portfolio management and analysis.
Mr. Key earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisville.
