Lori L. O'Flaherty
Chief Credit Officer

Lori O’Flaherty is responsible for all of CoBank’s credit approval and administrative functions, which include loan approval, credit support and analysis, credit guidelines and training, loan compliance and monitoring, collateral audit and special assets. Prior to assuming leadership of the bank’s credit operations, Ms. O’Flaherty managed CoBank’s Corporate Finance Division, which specializes in providing credit and non-credit solutions and directs the bank’s relationships with its largest food and agribusiness customers. She is a member of CoBank’s Management Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team.

Ms. O’Flaherty has 27 years of experience in commercial banking. She joined CoBank in 1997 and has held responsibility for numerous functions, including the structuring, sale and purchase of bank-syndicated transactions, and working with the bank’s alliance partners to create new credit-related products and services such as private placements and tax-exempt environmental bonds.

Prior to joining CoBank, Ms. O’Flaherty worked for Wells Fargo/First Interstate Bank, N.A., as vice president, holding various credit administration and management positions within the Denver Commercial Banking Group. She graduated cum laude from the honors program at the University of Denver, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Ms. O’Flaherty serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Inc.
