On a national
scale, through the Farm Credit System Foundation, CoBank supports the
National Young Farmer Educational Association, 4-H, the Future Farmers
of America (FFA) Foundation, Farm Safety Day Camps, Agriculture Future
of America and other organizations that dedicate programs to young,
beginning and small farmers.
We also join our Agricultural Credit
Association customers in supporting state and regional programs that
assist young and beginning farmers, and local FFA, 4-H and other worthy
educational groups. We also fund agricultural leadership programs in
various states. As a participant in the Northeast Farm Credit
AgEnhancement program, we have helped provide more than $715,000 to 239
projects and programs to strengthen agriculture and rural communities. |
