CoBank recognizes the importance of education in helping develop
the leaders of the future. Through our college relations program, we work with
multiple U.S. universities to provide annual scholarships. Both CoBank and FCL
offer internship opportunities based on our business needs.
Each of the universities we support shows a strong commitment to
agribusiness, cooperative education and research. The schools also
sponsor academic programs supporting our recruitment needs in
agribusiness, business administration, international business and
finance. We work with
Colorado State University,
Kansas State
University, Texas A&M University,
University of California-Davis,
University of Georgia and
University of Illinois.
CoBank endows funds to a number of universities to support research and
education. At the University of Missouri, we help fund the Robert D.
Partridge Chair in the Department of Agricultural Economics. The
endowment helps agricultural producers who organize to control their own
economic destiny. Partridge was a former general manager of NRECA. Other
CoBank endowments benefit Cornell University, Kansas State University’s
Foundation for the Arthur Capper Cooperative Center, Oklahoma State
University, Texas A&M and the University of California-Davis.
