Loan Servicing Specialist I

REPORTS TO:  Fulfillment Supervisor

Position Summary:

Performs general accounting and transaction processing on CoBank loans and leases.  Clears exception items on multiple reconciliation accounts.  Interacts with other bank areas to resolve customer issues.

Knowledge and Skills:

High school diploma and 1-2 years relevant experience preferably in banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred. Basic ability to navigate various on-line systems including MS Windows Office suite, browser-based systems and traditional “green-screen” applications.  Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and must be detail-oriented. Intermediate knowledge of commercial lending and leasing products and services; commercial cash management products and practices and basic accounting skills preferred.
