David S. Phippen


David Phippen is an owner of almond farms operated by Phippen Brothers, LP, Tap Land Company, LP, and Travaille and Phippen, Inc., as well as an owner and partner of Primo Nut Company, LP, an almond processing and sales company, and Xcel Shelling, LP, an almond shelling company, located in Manteca and Ripon, California. He is a member of American AgCredit, ACA. He also serves as a director for the Almond Board of California and the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau, and is a committee member for the County Agricultural Land Preservation and a director of other civic organizations.

Mr. Phippen became a director of U.S. AgBank in 2006 and served on the CoBank board from 2012 through 2015. He rejoined the CoBank board in 2019 and is a member of the Compensation and Human Resources Committee.

Mr. Phippen holds an associate’s degree from Modesto Junior College.
