Ann Trakimas

Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer Ann Trakimas is responsible for oversight of CoBank’s Operations and Information Technology Division. In addition, she oversees the Business Transformation Services group which includes the disciplines of data strategy, project execution and process and change management. She is a member of the bank’s Management Executive Committee and a member of the Farm Credit Leasing board of directors. Ms. Trakimas has announced her planned retirement at the end of 2019.

Prior to joining CoBank in 2011, Ms. Trakimas served as an outside director on the board of the Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation, the entity which issues debt securities that CoBank and other Farm Credit institutions use to fund its operations. She has more than 35 years of experience within the financial services industry, where she has worked for Chemical Bank and Morgan Stanley.  Most recently, Ms. Trakimas was an executive with Goldman Sachs, where she held numerous positions including head of the firm’s Financial Institutions Credit Risk Management and Advisory group.

She currently serves on the board of directors and finance committees for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and We Don’t Waste, a non-profit organization focused on food recovery. Ms. Trakimas has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hofstra University.
