Marci Rossell


Economist Marci Rossell makes complex financial issues relevant to people’s lives, families and careers as she addresses issues at the nexus of economics, politics, culture and the media.

Dr. Rossell is the former chief economist for CNBC and was co-host of Squawk Box. She began her career as an economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Since then, she’s served as an expert court witness for Deloitte and Touche and as a corporate economist and investment spokesperson for Oppenheimer Funds, one of the nation’s largest mutual fund companies. She brings a world of experience when discussing the U.S. economy, international events and movements in capital markets.

Dr. Rossell earned a doctorate in economics from Southern Methodist University, where she was also named a Young Alumni of the Year in 2002.
