CoBank announces 2026 board election results

DENVER (September 22, 2026)—CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States, today announced results of stockholder elections for the bank's 2027 board of directors.

This year’s ballot included a single board seat, a one-stockholder-one-vote seat in the Northwest Region. Incumbent board member Brandon J. Wittman of Billings, Montana, was re-elected for the four-year term expiring in 2030. Wittman is the CEO and general manager of Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Also today, CoBank announced the reappointment of appointed director Catherine Moyer to a four-year term expiring in 2030. Moyer, originally appointed to the board in 2010, is the chief executive officer and general manager of Pioneer Communications, CEO of High Plains Telecommunication, Inc. and managing director of PGB Fiber LLC, telecommunications providers in Ulysses, Kansas.

CoBank’s board structure includes 14 elected directors from six voting regions around the country. The board also includes two outside, independent board members with no customer or Farm Credit System affiliation, and up to four appointed directors.
