Positive Pay helps reduce fraud risk by matching payment activity against what you’ve authorized—so questionable items can be reviewed before they’re paid.

When you use Positive Pay, you provide CoBank with information about the checks you issue or the ACH activity you approve. As payments are presented, they’re compared against that information. If something doesn’t match, it’s flagged for your review, giving you the opportunity to pay or return the item.

Standard Positive Pay

Checks are matched to issued check numbers and amounts; exceptions are flagged for review.

Reverse Positive Pay

You review all checks presented for payment and decide which to pay or return.

Payee Match Positive Pay
